CONASADH concerned about deteriorating health of Sahrawi prisoner in Morocco

Bir Lahlou (liberated territories) May 03, 2016 (SPS) - Sahrawi Human Rights Commission (CONASADH) has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating health of the Sahrawi human rights activist and political prisoner, Abdulkhalek Markhi, who is on an unlimited hunger strike since 1 April in the prison of Tiznit, in Morocco.

COSCAPS reiterates its support for Saharawi people just cause

Las Palmas, May 03, 2016 (SPS) -.Canary Islands Trade Coordination Support for Saharawi people (COSCAPS) reiterated Monday its support to the Saharawi cause in a statement on the occasion of May Day celebrations.
 
COSCAPS has joined the initiative of several trade union organizations from different African countries, like Algeria or Nigeria, which have unanimously decided to dedicate this May 1 to solidarity with the Saharawi people.
 

Resolution of Western Sahara conflict: Algeria's position is that of international community, says Messahel

Algiers, May 03, 2016 (SPS) - Algeria's "constant" position on Western Sahara issue is that of the international community, reaffirmed Monday in Algiers Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and Arab League Abdelkader Messahel.
"Algeria's position is constant and it is that of the international community since it was included in the United Nations list of non-self-governing territories in 1963," Messahel told the national Radio.
