Cádiz (Andalucía), November 08, 2018 (SPS) - The Municipalism towards the decolonization of Western Sahara conference has organized a panel on the experience and role of Saharawi women in the struggle for Sahrawi self-determination and independence.
The panel opened with the presentation of the delegate of the Frente POLISARIO in Spain, Jira Bulahi, addressing the determination of the Saharawi woman to be an active actor in the struggle and the achievements of more than 4 decades of resistance in difficult conditions.

Sahrawi ambassador calls speech of Mohamed VI "contradictory", aims at undermining settlement efforts

Algiers,  Nov  08, 2018 (SPS) -  Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) to Algeria Abdelkader Taleb Omar on Wednesday in Algiers said that the Moroccan regime was trying to mislead the international public opinion and "undermine" the efforts aiming the settlement of Western Sahara conflict, "as it is reflected in the speech of King Mohamed VI on the occasion of 43rd anniversary of the Moroccan invasion of the Sahrawi territory, he called the anniversary of the completion of the Moroccan territorial integrity."

Saharawi delegation takes part in the Spanish municipalities Conference in face of the decolonization of Western Sahara

Cadiz (Spain), Nov 08, 2018 (SPS) – Sahrawi delegation headed by the Prime Minister, Mohamed Luali Akeik took part at the conference of  Municipal Policies in the face of the decolonization of Western Sahara with the presence of Spanish municipalities, parliamentarians and researchers on various aspects related to the question of Western Sahara
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mohamed Luali Akeik has called the attendee to press through all political platforms for the acceleration of the completion of the process of decolonization in Western Sahara.

Sahrawi delegation holds talks with Catalonia Government Cooperation and Development General Director

A French association calls for Saharawi people right to self-determination

Martyr Haddad Military School, November 5, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Brahim Ghali, supervised, Monday at Martyr Haddad Military School, the graduation of a new batch of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA).
The batch bore the name of Martyr Boudjamaa al-Makki Omar. The ceremony was marked by military parades and attended by members of the National Secretariat, the Government and the General Staff of the Army.

Polisario Front calls COFACE to end illegal activities in Western Sahara

Polisario Front willing to cooperate with UN for Western Sahara decolonization

Shaheed Al Hafeed, November 3, 2018 (SPS) -The Polisario Front on Friday reaffirmed its willingness to cooperate with the United Nations for the decolonization of Western Sahara, and called the Security Council to bring the Kingdom of Morocco back to unconditioned negotiations.
The Polisario Front made this statement at the meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the national secretariat of the front, chaired by Sahrawi President Brahim Ghali. 

President of United Republic of Tanzania reiterates firm support for struggle of Sahrawi people

Dar Es-Salaam, November 3, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. John Magufuli, reiterated his country's firm support for the legitimate struggle of the Sahrawi people for self-determination.
During the audience granted to Sahrawi ambassador, Brahim Salem Buseif, who paid him a farewell at the end of his mission as the ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to the United Republic of Tanzania, President John Magufuli re-affirmed Tanzania's firm position in support for the just cause of the Sahrawi people.

UNSC extends Minurso mandate for six months

United Nations, Nov 01, , 2018 (SPS) .- The UN Security Council extended for six months the mandate of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (Minurso), as presented by the United States,  in order to continue pressing the parties to negotiate directly and without conditions to find a solution to the conflict.

Manifestation in Berlin to denounce Western Sahara natural resources illegal exploitation

Berlin (Germany), Nov 01, 2018 (SPS) -The Sahrawis demonstrators denounced in Berlin, Germany, the illegal looting of the Sharwi people natural resouces ,reminding  the European countries of their responsibility in the decolonization of Western Sahara and to demand from the international community the holding of the self-determination referendum promised by the ONU.
The demonstration called by the collective "Banat Esaguia" coincided with the celebration of the G20-Africa Conference to promote a program of cooperation and investment in Africa.
