Boujdour (Occupied Territories), July 8, 2017 (SPS) -  The Moroccan forces intervened violently to disperse peaceful Sahrawi demonstrators, who took to the streets in the occupied city of Boujdour, to express their solidarity with Sahrawi students detainees and condemn their mock trial and the harsh sentences issued against them.
The violent intervention of the Moroccan forces resulted in many injuries among the peaceful Sahrawi demonstrators. 

Bir Lahlou, July 8, 2017 (SPS) - The Sahrawi government and the Polisario Front denounced a Moroccan bill on delimitation of territorial waters between occupied Western Sahara and Canary Islands (Spain), and considered the bill "null and void," said Friday a statement of the Saharawi Ministry of Information.

Bir Lehlu, July 06, 2017 (SPS) - the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and the Frente POLISARIO has strongly condemned in a statement the decision of the Moroccan government to decide to include Saharawi territorial waters in its territory.
"The government of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and the Frente POLISARIO consider that the bill adopted today by the Moroccan government, which delimits the border between Western Sahara and the Canaries, is null," stresses the statement from the Ministry of Saharawi Information.

Occupied Aaiun ,04 July 2017 (SPS) - The Moroccan occupation authorities on Monday prevented two Spanish observers from visiting the occupied city of Aaiun (Laura Moreno Torricrosa and Andrea Síez de Eigliath), who were in the process of organizing several meetings with the Sahrawi legal, political and media activists and the assessment of  human rights situation in the territory.

Addis Ababa, July 3, 2017 (SPS) - The works of the 29th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union opened on Monday at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa, with the participation of Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb-Omar as the representative of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Ibrahim Ghali, at the summit.
The Summit is held under the theme “Harnessing the Demographic Dividend through Investments in Youth,” July 3-4, at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa.

Addis Ababa, July 1, 2017 (SPS) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed-Salem Ould-Salek took part Friday in the 31st summit of the African Union Council of Ministers in Addis Ababa, in preparation of the 29th summit of AU Heads of State and Government, scheduled for July 3-4, in Addis Ababa.
Morocco, which had left the OAU in 1984 due to the admission of SADR as a full member of this continental organization, sits today, after its accession last January and unconditionally to the African Union, alongside the Saharawi Republic.
