President of Republic congratulates Namibian counterpart on his National Day

Bir lehlu (liberated territories), March  20, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali, sent a congratulatory message to his counterpart of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Mr. Hage Geingob, during the celebration of his country's 28th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Namibia.
"On behalf of the Saharawi People and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations on the 28th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Namibia. I wish the people of Namibia happiness, continued success and prosperity.”
"Acknowledging the value of the achievements in the past 28 years of independence, Namibia has made a lot of progress and positive impact not only on its citizens but also on human development particularly in African and the appraisement of its constant commitment towards eradicating of all sort of colonization agenda and strengthening the economical independency of our continent which has stood the test of time and adversity" , President of the Republic went on saying in his letter.
Brahim Gali added that Namibia has become a key partner and ally of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic when working together in the African Union. Over this period, we have established a close dialogue, based on common approach towards a number of topical matters, particularly in addressing key challenges regarding peace and security and the common quest in defending the struggle of the Sahrawi People for their right to self-determination and independence
He has highly appreciated the excellent  bilateral relations linked both peoples recently marked by the presentation of letters of credence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia As the first ambassador to be accredited in the liberated territories of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
President Brahim Gali hail the firm position of Namibia to end up the colonization of Western Sahara, which he added  is a shared memory engraved by our two peoples, which for sure bounds the destiny of the Sahrawi Arab democratic Republic and the Republic of Namibia, two geographically distant but close countries in terms of values and intense desire for freedom, and is enhancing the core role of the African Union to take its natural place in the International arenas.SPS
