San Salvador, November 24, 2018 (SPS) - Minister for Latin America, Mansur Omar, accompanied by Ambassador to El Salvador, Suliman Tieb Henan, was received Thursday by President of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of El Salvador, Norman Quijano, at the Legislative Palace.
Minister for Latin America briefed the President of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of El Salvador on the current development related to the Sahrawi issue and the future negotiations between the Polisario Front and Morocco.
President of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of El Salvador reaffirmed his country's position in favour of the self-determinations and independence of the Sahrawi people, stressing the close relations between the two parliaments, which will be enhanced through the Parliamentary Group of Sahrawi-Salvadoran Friendship, whose new members have recently been elected.
