Cairo, Egypt, Sept 17, 2019 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic took part in the work of the African Forum on Migration in the Egyptian capital Cairo from 14-16 September.
The African Forum, held this year under the slogan "Strengthening data and research on migration for the development and implementation of evidence-based policies for effective migration management in Africa", was attended by the Minister of the Interior, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Ali Sidi El Bachir.
The meeting aims to establish a reliable mechanism for data and research on migration on the continent for evidence-based policies.
This meeting will assist in providing political support and cooperation between the African Forum on Migration and the relevant national, regional and continental framework for AU policy-making.SPS
