Shaheed Al Hafed, 27 February 2023 (SPS) -  The Sahrawi Republic has reiterated its full readiness to fulfill its international commitments towards peace, security, stability and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the world.
In a speech addressed to the Sahrawi people on the occasion of the celebration of the 47th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic, the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Front, Brahim Ghali, said that "the Sahrawi Republic, on its forty-seventh anniversary, as it continues to progress steadily on the path of construction, consolidation of its position and completion of its control over all its national territory, reiterates its full readiness to fulfil its international commitments towards peace, security, stability and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the world.
President Brahim Ghali proudly noted the close and distinguished relations between the Sahrawi Republic and sisterly Algeria, under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with its firm principled positions alongside peoples fighting against all forms of injustice, colonialism and tyranny, adhering to the values and principles of the glorious November Revolution and the Charter and resolutions of the United Nations and the African Union.
He also renewed the will of the Sahrawi Republic to consolidate relations of brotherhood, friendship and neighborhood with the sisterly Islamic Republic of Mauritania, stressing full readiness to cooperate with brothers and neighbors to address the dangers and challenges in the region.
President Brahim Ghali warned of the consequences of the aggressive and expansionist policies of the Moroccan occupation state, and the tension and instability it sows, whether by supporting and encouraging transnational organized crime gangs and terrorist groups with drugs and others, or by suspicious alliances and opening the way for foreign agendas known to enter the region with their malicious plans.
