Castilla y León (Spain), Nov 02, 2017 (SPS) - The majority Spanish trade unions, Workers' Commissions and General Union of Workers, in Castilla y León, reaffirmed, in a meeting with the delegate of the Polisario Front, their solidarity and support to the struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence.
The meeting is part of a series of contacts and activities carried out by the unions in Castilla y León, on the struggle of the Saharawi people; the situation of refugees and violations of human rights in the occupied Western Sahara by Morocco.
The trade union leaders of CCOO and UGT, transmitted to the Frente POLISARIO representative, Mohamed Labat, their commitment to the cause and their will to further strengthen friendly relations and cooperation with the SADR.
For his part, Mohamed Labat, informed his counterpart about the recent developments of the Saharawi national cause. SPS
