Shahid Al Hafed,13 October 2022 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, will start Tuesday an official visit to the Republic of South Africa, at the invitation of his South African counterpart, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa.
"The visit aims to consolidate bilateral relations and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the two brotherly peoples, which date back to long years of struggle against colonialism and apartheid," indicated a statement of the Presidency of the Republic.
"The visit will be an occasion to renew thanks and gratitude to the Government and people of South Africa, under the leadership of H.E President Cyril Ramaphosa, for the firm and principled positions, and to reaffirm the determination of the Sahrawi Republic to strengthen relations of brotherhood, friendship and cooperation, for the interest of the two countries and peoples, as well as the countries and peoples of the African continent, and to consolidate the position of Africa and its continental organization, the African Union, on the international stage," added the statement .
