Chahid El-Hafed, Dec10, 2020 (SPS) - The Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat welcomed the invitation of the African Union (AU) to the two members of its organization, the Sahrawi Republic and the Kingdom of Morocco, to get involved in search for a just and lasting solution based on respect for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.
In a statement made public, following the conclusion of a meeting chaired by the President of the Republic, Frente POLISARIO´SG, Mr. Brahim Gali, and the Bureau welcomed the “position expressed by the African Union that emphasizes the need to find solutions to conflicts between Member States by respecting the principles and objectives of the Union”.
On the other hand, during the Bureau meeting, a presentation was made on the main results of the Fourteenth Extraordinary Summit of the AU held on December 6, which was dedicated to the topic of “silencing weapons and preparing conditions for continental development”. SPS
