The Saharawi Human Rights Commission has strongly condemned Tuesday  the Moroccan state for recruiting and mobilizing criminal thugs with criminal records to carry out new attacks against Saharawi citizens and international observers who attended the trial against the Saharawi prisoners in Rabat, Morocco.

The statement strongly denounced the malicious behavior of the Moroccan court with the presentation of false witnesses and manipulated in a theater commonly orchestrated.

In this context, the Commission condemned the savage attacks by the Moroccan security services against the French lawyer, Ms. Olfa Ouled, by order of the President of the court, and the cowardly attacks on the relatives of Saharawi political prisoners and Saharawi human rights activists who demonstrated peacefully outside the court.

The commission expressed its solidarity with the heroic resistance shown by the group of prisoners of Gdeim Izik and their firm position against the multiple maneuvers of the Moroccan state and its unjust court. Voicing its solidarity with the families of Gdeim Izik's group and all the international personalities, both lawyers and observers, or members of organizations and associations, who have been at their side during their arbitrary detention and in the long process of unfair trial.

CNSDH demanded that the Moroccan regime respect the relevant Conventions and respect the requirements of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions relating to the situation of detainees of the Gdeim Izik group and the nature of occupied Western Sahara as a territory without decolonization registered in the list of Non-Self-Governing Territories of the United Nations Fourth Committee SPS
