Madrid , June 21, 2017 (SPS) - A Delegation of the Frente POLISARIO headed by the Minister of State, Presidential Adviser and Member of the National Secretariat, Bachir Mustafa Sayed, accompanied by Polisario’s Delegate to Spain, Jira Bulahi, participated in the 39th Congress of the PSOE, which was held on 17 and 18 June in Madrid to confirm the new leadership of the party led by its new Secretary General, Pedro Sánchez.
In addition to the work of the Congress, the Delegation of the POLISARIO has had a meeting with the new Secretary General of the PSOE who have congratulated him on his election, requested the new leadership of PSOE, to address with more firmness and determination the issue of Western Sahara.
The participating Delegation has held several meetings with other political forces and foreign delegations from other countries participating in the 39th Congress of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party, mainly at European and Latin American level. SPS
