Berlin, 3 December 2022 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Prime Minister, Mr. Bushraya Hamoudi Beyoun, has reiterated in Berlin the right of the Sahrawi people to continue the armed struggle, the only way to end the Moroccan occupation.
Speaking at the opening of the 46th Conference of the European Coordination for Support and Solidarity with the Sahrawi People (EUCOCO), the Prime Minister stressed that "the current situation in Western Sahara and the position of some influential countries will only lead to more tensions in the region," denouncing "the repeated maneuvers of Morocco and its allies in order to thwart any solution that would lead to the implementation of international legality.
"All efforts of the international community to find a peaceful and just solution have been ignored," he said, noting that the attitude of some countries "was the cause of non-compliance with international law.
