New York, Sep 25, 2017 (SPS) - Angola has called for ensuring the application of the United Nations and African Union resolution on the issue of Western Sahara.
During the General Debate of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, Angola's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Mr. Ismael Abraão Gaspar Martins, called for the effective implementation of the resolutions of the Security Council and the African Union concerning the Saharawi question.
In this regard, Angola encourages the parties to the conflict to continue the dialogue to resolve the conflict. (SPS)
