Shaheed El Hafed, September 18, 2016 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, received at the Presidency of the Republic Salvadoran Senator Juan Manuel Flores, on a visit to Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
During the audience, Senator Juan Manuel Flores handed a letter to the President of the Republic from his Salvadoran counterpart Sánchez Cerén, in which he reiterated the support of his country and his willingness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples.
The visit aims at establishing a Salvadoran-Sahrawi parliamentary group of friendship, as well as evaluating the situation in which the Sahrawi people live.
The Salvadoran Senator was also received by President of the National Council (Parliament), Khatri Addouh, in the presence of members of the Sahrawi legislative body.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen relations between the Saharawi and Salvadoran parliaments, including the creation of a parliamentary friendship group.
Mr. Flores also visited several institutions of the Saharawi Republic. (SPS)
