Algiers, Feb 24, 2021 (SPS) - Human rights activist Claude Mangin called on members of the UN Security Council to urge Morocco to respect international legality in occupied Western Sahara, denouncing the slowness in the appointment of a new personal envoy to Western Sahara.
"The only possibility to push Morocco to comply with international legality in Western Sahara is to address the various governments, starting with those of the countries which sit permanently at the level of the UN Security Council", said the activist and wife of Saharawi political detainee, Namma Asfari, in an interview with La Patrienews.SPS
