Shaheed Al Hafed (Refugee Camps), 4 February 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, received Friday President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), Mr. Fortune Charumbira, accompanied by members of the African Union.
President Ghali held talks with Mr. Fortune Charumbira at the end of the latter's visit to the Sahrawi Republic, through which he aimed to find out about the situation of the Sahrawi refugees and the running of the Sahrawi state institutions, according to the agenda of the visit.
The Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic, Mr. Mohamed Yeslam Beisat, indicated in a statement to the press, "the discussions focused on the latest developments in the struggle of the Sahrawi people and its just cause, recalling the African positions and the principles included in the Constitutive Act of the African Union and the various recommendations and decisions taken by the decision-making bodies within African Union, including the Summit, the Peace and Security Council and the African Court of Justice.
