Boujdour (Refugee Camps),11 June 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mr. Brahim Ghali, supervised on Saturday the commemoration of the National Day of Martyrs and the Army, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat and the Government, the General Staff of the Army, fighters of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army from various military regions and formations.
In commemoration of the event, the participants listened to an intervention on the thought of martyr Wali Mustafa Sayed, founder of the Polisario Front, presented by member of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front and Chairman of the Advisory Council, Mr. Mohamed Lamin Ahmed.
The event honored the families of the martyrs, the group of former prisoners of the Mauritanian state, the military sports teams and the presentation of a tape about the military institution, highlighting the 50 years of struggle.
