Belgrade (Serbia), June 22, 2023 (SPS) - Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, on Wednesday held talks with his Serbian counterpart, Mr. Ivica Dacic, in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, as part of the European Tour commissioned by the president of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
A statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the two ministers reaffirmed the "consensus of their principled positions on issues that are at the heart of the major concerns of the two countries, especially the Kosovo crisis and the issue of Western Sahara," where Mr. Attaf stressed that "the source of these two conflicts lies in the violation of the principle of the inviolability of borders for Kosovo and the principle of non-infringement of the borders inherited from colonialism for the Arab Sahara”.
