Birlahlou (Liberated Territories) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) bombarded the command headquarters of the 65th battalion of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Laagad region, the Ministry of Defence indicated Saturday in its military communiqué No. 822.
According to the communiqué, "advanced units of the Saharawi army bombarded the headquarters of command of the 65th battalion of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Laagad region in the Mahbes sector".
Advanced SPLA units had previously concentrated their attacks on entrenchments of the occupation army in the regions of Agraret el Farsig and Amitir Lemkhinza in the Mahbes sector.
Since the resumption of armed struggle on November 13, 2020, attacks by the Saharawi army continue against the Moroccan occupation forces who "suffer heavy human and material losses along the wall of shame", the communiqué concluded.
