Algiers, September12, 2011(SPS) the Ambassador of South Africa to Algeria, Sam Joseph Cotanne , renewed the strong support of his country to the struggle of the Saharawi People for freedom and independence.
“South Africa morally and materially supports the struggle of the Saharawi People for freedom and independence” said the African diplomat in an interview with the Algerian newspaper "le jeune independent” published on Sunday
Mr. Ambassador explained that the Saharawi Republic has an embassy in Pretoria which looking for enlarging its support and has mobilized civil society, humanitarian and religious associations to support the Saharawi issue.
He enlightened that the official representative of his embassy regularly visits the Saharawi refugee camps and his next visit will be organized in September 16 on the occasion of the opening of the schools. (SPS)
