Montevideo , December 28, 2011 (SPS) the Uruguayan Association of Friendship with SADR, celebrated Monday, the 6th anniversary of the recognition of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic(SADR) by the Uruguayan government, According to Saharawi embassy in Montevideo.
The ceremony was attended by the Foreign Minister of Uruguay, Luis Almagro, the president of the Association, Emiliano Gomez, Secretary Marisa Raymundo in addition to the Saharawi ambassador in Montevideo, Cheibani Abbas and the first secretary of the embassy, Mohamed Salem Abdelfatah (Ebnu).
Senators, deputies of the ruling party and opposition, writers, artists, personalities of Uruguay also took part in the ceremony, said the source.
