Delegation of Saharawi women meets with parliamentarians in Brasilia

Brasilia, April 11, 2012 (SPS) - delegation of the Saharwi Women Union taking part at XV Congress of the Women International Democratic Federation WIDF, held meetings on Tuesday in Brasilia with Brazilian parliamentarians and politicians to shed the light on the on the deteriorating situation of human rights in occupied Western Sahara.

 

The delegation, headed by Secretary General of Saharawi Women Union, Fatma Mehdi, held meeting with the chairman of Foreign Relations and Defense Committee at Brazilian Parliament, Perpetua Almeida, in the presence of parliamentarians and Saharawi Ambassador in charge mission in Brazil, Hamdi Abiahh.


The delegation met also with a group of Women Parliamentarians’ front, chaired by, Mr. Janet Rocha beta who supervised discussion on Western Sahara conflict.

 

The delegation of the Sahrawi Women consists of SG Fatma Lmehdi along with member of Pan African parliament, Swilma Bairuk and member at Executive Office, Chaba Sini. (SPS)
