Dili, May 22, 2012 (SPS) - Prime Minister of East Timor, Mr. Chanana Gusmao received today, at the Governmental Palace in Dili, a Saharawi delegation led by Minister of State, Bachir Mustafa Sayed accompanying by Minister Counselor at the Presidency in charge of Asia, Malainin Sadig, and Sahrawi Ambassador to Dili, Salama Badi.
Prime Minister Chanana Gusmao expressed his gratitude for the participation of a Saharawi delegation at the celebrations of 10th anniversary 10th anniversary of East Timor's independence, asserting the deep bilateral relations between the two countries and commitment to promote it .
Speaking to reports after the meeting, Bachir Mustafa Sayed valued the excellent bonds of friendship between Saharawi Republic and East Timor which goes back to the period of resistance against the occupation.(SPS)
