Amgala ( occupied territories)July 4,2012(SPS)the Saharawi youth Mohamed Ben Abdulla nicknamed( Almakawi) has died in the hospital of Smara due to landmine explosion on Monday in the area of Amgala, southern east Smara city, according to the ministry of occupied territories and Communities.
The victim was driving a car (Land rover) with another guy when the landmine exploded and they were severely wounded and transferred to the hospital of Smara where he died while the other remains suffering in the hospital.
It should be noted that Western Sahara is one of the most polluted areas around the world because of the prevalence of mines and unexploded weapons and other remnants of the Moroccan invasion to Western Sahara which led to many deaths and victims among the Saharawi citizens. (SPS)
