A delegation of US "Robert Kennedy" Center Wednesday in Sahrawi refugee camps

 Shahid Alhafed, August 28, 2012(SPS) -President of the Association of Sahrawi Prisoners and Missing Persons Abdessalem Lahcen Omar said Tuesday that the object President of the US "Robert Kennedy" Center visit, on Wednesday, to the Saharawi refugee camps, is to "shed light on the living conditions of the Sahrawi refugees. "

 In a statement to Algerian Press Service (APS) , Lahcen said the visit took place as part of the Center's efforts "to shed light on the situation of Sahrawis marked by serious violations recorded in the occupied territories and  in the south of Morocco."

 According to the same source, the delegation will conduct information visit for one day during which it will meet with organizations and associations of human rights in refugee camps including Shahid alhadef  , Smara, and 27 February camp to check the situation of human rights.

 The visit also aims to draw the attention of international public opinion, to emphasize the necessity for the Organization UN to ensure protection of human rights, and to encourage the MINURSO to honor its commitments, including the application of Security Council resolutions relating to the determination of the Saharawi people.(SPS)
