Santiago, Oct 21, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Workers' United Center of Chile (CUT), Ms. Barbara Figueroa has reaffirmed her support and solidarity with UGTSARIO and through it to the struggle of Saharawi people for freedom and independence.
In a congratulatory message to the 7th Congress of the Saharawi Union of Workers (UGTSARIO) to be opened today afternoon , Ms. Barbara Figueroa expressed solidarity with Saharawi people especially the workers.
She noticed that slogan of UGTESARIO’s Congress “resistance, liberation and development" clearly reflects "what the Saharawi people live, but also what the working class lives in the world that must endure and persevere against a model that oppresses them”.
The President of CUT sends the "warmest congratulations" to UGTSARIO in its 7th Congress, expressing “appreciation to the brave men and women who every day fight for the independence of the Saharawi people".
