Murcia (Spain), January 30, 2012 (SPS) The Director General of Social Affairs, Equality and Immigration from the Autonomous Government of Murcia, Leopoldo Navarro Guéliz Tuesday reiterated the Government's commitment in the region to continue humanitarian aid to the Sahrawi refugees, following a meeting with the representative of the Polisario Front in Murcia, Mohammed Moustafa Labat.
During the meeting, Mohammed Labat informed his interlocutor about the latest developments in the region in light of the war in northern Mali, and the sovereign decision of the Saharawi authorities for the temporary repatriation of not essential foreign cooperators.
The two sides also discussed the situation of humanitarian aid of the Sahrawi refugees and cooperation ties that exist between the Government of Murcia and the Government of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic. (SPS)
