Pretoria, June 28, 2013 (SPS) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of SADR Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek has delivered a letter from the Saharawi President Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz to the President of South African Mr. Jacob Zuma.
The letter is related to the latest developments of Saharawi issue, international community efforts for the decolonization of Western Sahara, Morocco’s disregard to international legitimacy resolutions, gross violations of human rights perpetuated by Moroccan state in the occupied territories of SADR, looting of Saharawi natural resources, in addition to preventing international observers and press to monitor and report about what is happening in the Territory.
To recall, South Africa has always expressed solid position that supports the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, in compliance with the common history of struggle combining the two peoples and two countries. (SPS)
