Moroccan occupation authorities transfer Sahrawi political prisoner SIdahmed Lamjaed to hospital

Sala (Morocco), July 17, 2013 (SPS) – The Moroccan occupation authorities  has transferred on Tuesday, the Sahrawi political detainee and human rights activist, Chairman of the Committee for supportto  the UN plan settlement and the protection of natural resources in Western Sahara, Mr. Sidahmad Lamjaed who is sentenced to life prison, to a Ibn Sina hospital in the capital Rabat, where he was notified of the postponement of the date of the medical examinations indefinitely, as reported statement  by the Ministry of the occupied territories and communities.

 

The source added that this is not the first time that the Souissi hospital administration does such quirks in an attempt to cover up the catastrophic health situation experienced by the Saharawi political prisoners, mainly GdaimIzik group.

 

The same source noted that the Sahrawi political prisoner Sidahmed  Lamjaed is suffering from skin allergies and aches at eye and legs level as well as at the back and spine which is mostly caused by physical torture and ill-treatment he experienced inside police stations and gendarmerie in occupied Laiun, in addition to neglect and indifference followed by the staff of Sale prison No 1 and 2.
