On UN Day : Algerian President reminds Ki-moon of UN responsibilites in Western Sahara

Algiers, Oct 29, 2013 (SPS) - The President of Algeria, Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika, has reminded the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, of the Organization’s responsibilities towards the decolonization and self-determination of the Saharawis people, in a letter addressed Monay to mark the United Nations Day.


Depriving the Palestinian people from enjoying their inalienable and uncompromised national rights, including the right to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and depriving the peoples of the 16 non-self-governing territories, including that of Western Sahara, from enjoying their liberty and exercising their inalienable right to self-determination, is an evidence of the amounts of required collective efforts, so to fulfill the promises of the ambitions of the UN first whiff.
