Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), Dec 17, 2013 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz has sent a letter of congratulation to the President-elect of Chile Ms. Michelle Bachelet, following her victory in the presidential elections, held last Sunday.
“It is an honour for me to extend to you, on behalf of the Saharawi government and people, my sincere congratulation for this victory which allows you to preside over the sisterly country of Chile in the coming years,” writes President Mohamed Abdelaziz.
He also felicitated the Chilean president for the confidence entrusted to her by the people of Chile, expressing conviction that Chile will embark a new era of development and prosperity.
He, moreover, took this opportunity to reiterate Polisario Front and Sahrawi government’s will for joint work in order to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Chile and the Sahrawi Republic. (SPS)
