Tiznit (Morocco) January 10, 2014 (SPS) - Sahrawi political prisoners Hassan Mohamed Lehssan, engaged in the first week of hunger strike in the local prison in Tiznit, Moroccan, suffers deteriorating health conditions, according to the Ministry of the Occupied Territories and Community Abroad.
Hassan Mohamed Lehssan suffers of dyspnea, severe Stomach ache, knee pain which had necessitated aquiring medical tests that required tranforming him to Marrakech.
The deterioration of his health occurs in complete disregard of his legitimate demands of a fair and impartial investigation to what he subjected to of degrading treatment of human dignity and constant threat in the prison.
It is worth mentioning that Sahrawi political prisoner Hassan Mohamed Lehssan was arrested in 2004 by Moroccan gendarmerie and received unfair sentence of ten-year prison. He spent years in ‘Carcel Negra’ in the ocupied city of El Aaiun and Ait Melloul prison in Agadir, Morocco, then transferred to Tiznit prison, where he is jailed now. (SPS)
