June 9th School (refugee camps), Feb 26, 2014 (SPS) - The Saharawi National Council (Parliament) elected yesterday, Tuesday, a deputy speaker and heads of the seven committees it is composed of.
SPS have learnt that Mr. Salama Mohamed Ameisa has been elected as deputy speaker of the Saharawi Parliament.
In its founding session held Monday, the new Saharawi National Council re-elected Mr. Khatri Addouh as a president of the Council with a majority of votes.
The event was chaired by Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, president of the republic and secretary general of the Polisario Front. (SPS)
