Auserd (refugee camps), July 23, 2014 (SPS) - A week of solidarity with the Cuban people kicked off today morning, Wednesday, in the wilaya of Auserd, Saharawi refugee camps.
According to the organizers, these celebrations are held on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the Cuban revolution.
The opening day was attended by members of National Secretariat of the Frente Polisario and Saharawi government, in addition to cadres in the state, some Cuban doctors and the people of Auserd.
These days will be concluded next Saturday in Chahid Al Hafed.
The Cuban revolution began in July 1953, and ended with the ousting of Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista on 1st January 1959. (SPS)
