Bir Lehlou (liberated zones), Oct 28, 2014 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, on Monday sent a message of congratulation to the re-elected President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ms. Dilma Rousseff.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz expressed, on behalf of the Saharawi people and Government, his “warmest felicitations and best wishes of success” to President Rousseff in steering the wheel of the ship of Brazil.
“We are convinced that Brazil, one of the best countries known for their past and present history, would understand the higher meaning of a gesture of solidarity and generosity with a just cause of freedom and democracy as is the case of the Saharawi people,” underlined Saharawi President.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz expressed willingness of Saharawi government to open “a new page in the relations of friendship, cooperation and solidarity with this country, with which we share bonds of history, culture and brotherhood.”
Ms. Rousseff won the presidential elections that took place in Brazil with 51.45 percent of the general number of voters. (SPS)
