Paris, November 11, 2014 (SPS) - The international community should make more effort and be more clear, especially in light of recent statements by the King of Morocco Mohamed VI, who ignored the international community and tramples the Security Council and the General Assembly resolutions for the decolonization of Western Sahara, said the Minister of State for Europe, Mohamed Sidati in a statement to RFI.
"Undoubtedly, at the level of the international community, it seems that there is a need to try harder and be more clear, especially in light of recent statements of Morocco, " said Mohamed Sidati.
The United Nationsmust respond, otherwise "the frustration can only grow among Sahrawis," warned the Saharawi diplomat.

Moreover, the spokesperson of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, said Friday in a press conference, that Ban Ki-moon has always called for the resumption of negotiations on the Western Sahara between the two parties to the conflict - the Polisario Front and Morocco - and to allow his Personal Envoy and his Special Representative, respectively, Christopher Ross and Kim Bolduc to perform their duties.
