Addis Ababa, Dec 4, 2014 (SPS) - Minister of Trade Mr. Abida Cheickh takes part at 9th Ordinary Session of the African Union Conference of Ministers of Trade, opened on Monday at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The minister is accompanied by Mr. Lamine Baali, ambassador in Ethiopia and permanenet representative to the AU, Nguia Zrug, trade expert, and Maria Saila, from diplomatic mission in Addis Ababa.
The meeting will focus on a variety of crucial issues related to intra-trade, of which customs duties, exchange of expertise on trade and industry, relationships with international trade organizations.
AU ministers will discuss a statement on how to deal with World Trade Organization, in terms of agriculture, cotton and access to markets.
On the deadlines of the conference, the Saharawi delegation met with several participating delegations. (SPS)
