El Aaiun (occupied territories), Feb 3, 2015, (SPS) - Moroccan occupying authorities have banned a group of Saharawi citizens from claiming peacefully their civil and political rights, which is a violation of human rights and the international charter and norms.
In this regard, Moroccan security forces, in plain clothes and uniform, blocked a peaceful demonstration by a group of Sahrawi women, in solidarity with the Saharawi political prisoners.
They also called for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and to have the advantage of their natural resources.
In the same regard, Moroccan authorities intervened against a peaceful sit-in organized by a group of Sahrawi employees, leaving several injuries among the demonstrators. (SPS)
