Namibia reiterates support to Sahrawi people right to self-determination and independence

 Accra (Ghana), March 22, 2015 (SPS) - The Ambassador of Namibia in Ghana, Mr. Charles Josob, reaffirmed the support of his government, to ''the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, and appealed to the international community to conclude the process of decolonization of Western Sahara as soon as possible, the last colony in Africa ''.

 

The Ambassador of the sisterly nation was speaking at a luncheon at his residence in Accra, in the presence of Ghanaian authorities, diplomatic corps and numerous personalities to mark 25th anniversary of the independence of this country and the inauguration of new president Mr. Hage Geingob, said the SADR embassy in Ghana.                

 

It should be recalled that a delegation led by the SADR Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, took part in the inauguration ceremony of President-elect of Namibia, Mr. Hage G. Geingob, that coincides with the celebrations of the 25th Anniversary of the Independence of Namibia which on March 21 1990. (SPS)
