El Aaiun (occupied territories), April 29, 2015 (SPS) - Moroccan court of occupation in the city of El Aaiun, capital of the occupied Western Sahara, on Wednesday postponed until 30 June 2015 the trial of six Saharawi political prisoners, now in temporary release status.
The detainees are: Mohamed Ali Saadi, Yusef Buzeid, Mohamed Karnit, Yasin Sidati, Aziz Hramch and Hafed Toubali.
The group was arrested on May 4th, 2013 after they took part in a peaceful demonstration calling for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.
Five of the group spent 5 months in detention in Black Jail in occupied El Aaiun, whereas Hafed Toubali served a 6-month jail term in Tiznit Prison, Morocco. (SPS)
