Copenhagen, (Denmark) Sept 3, 2015 (SPS) – The Representative of POLISARIO front to Denmark, Mr. Abba Malainin, was received Thursday by Alexander Grant Pedersen, Chairman of the Danish Social Democratic Youth (DSU), Maj Luise, Vice President and Ida Pactau, Vice President and member of the International board of DSU.
The Saharawi Representative gave presentation on the different aspects of illegal occupation of Morocco to Western Sahara including others; the historical background, the legal aspect, the actual status of the UN peace process, the immense human rights violations such as disappearances, torture, arbitrary detentions and executions committed by the Moroccan authorities, as well as a lack of freedom of speech, association and assembly. The discussions tackled also the illegality of the exploitations by Morocco and other parties of the natural resources of the last colony in Africa.
Finally, Mr. Abba Malainin emphasized on the role and the responsibility of different political parties and Organisations of the Civil Society in World to help terminate the injustice and to accomplish the international legality in Western Sahara, through exerting more pressure for the fulfillment of the only viable, peaceful and lasting solution for the conflict, which is the self-determination referendum under the UN supervision.
