Birlehlu (liberated territories), Secember 25, 2015 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, on Thursday sent a letter of condolences to the President of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, on the death of the leader of the Socialist Forces Front (FFS), Hussein Ait Ahmed, who passed away on Wednesday in Lausanne (Switzerland).
"It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Hussein Ait Ahmed, an important figure in the historical glorious Revolution of November 1," said Abdelaziz in his message.
The death of Hussein Ait Ahmed, who led a relentless struggle for the independence of Algeria and was a tireless advocate for the development and progress of the country, is a great loss for the Algerian nation.
"I would like to express, on behalf of the Saharawi people and on my own behalf, my sincere and deepest condolences to you, to the bereaved family, his countless friends, the Socialist Forces Front, and the brotherly Algerian people at this painful time," added the President of the Republic. (SPS)
