Moroccan court approves primary verdict against Saharawi political prisoners

El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), January 3, 2016 (SPS) - The Moroccan Court of Appeal in the occupied city of El Aaiun confirmed Thursday the primary judgement issued againt the Sahrawi political prisoners Ali Dawdi and Hacen boucif, according to the CODESA.

 

The two Sahrawi political prisoners were brought before the Moroccan court of first instance in the occupied city of Dakhla in October 2015 and sentenced them to 6 months imprisonment on the background of their participation in peaceful protests demanding the right of the Sahrawi people, organized in September 2015 in the town.

 

Ali Dawdi and Hacen boucif were subjected to arbitrary arrest on September 27, 2015 by elements of the Moroccan police in Dakhla occupied city. (SPS)
