Shaheed El-Hafed, December 20, 2024 (SPS) - Mr. Amon Murwira, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, has reiterated Zimbabwe's unconditional support for the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination and independence.
This statement was made in a response letter to the congratulations sent to him by Mr. Mohamed Sidati, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and a member of the National Secretariat, on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe.
Mr. Amon Murwira reaffirmed his commitment to continue working with his Sahrawi counterpart to strengthen, expand, and reinforce the ties of friendship and solidarity that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
The Zimbabwean Foreign Minister also expressed his readiness to consult with his Sahrawi counterpart on issues of mutual interest at the regional, continental, and international levels.(SPS)
