Chahid El-Hafed (Sahrawi Republic), 23 September 2024 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) intervened on Monday to provide aid to Sahrawi citizens affected by the torrential rainfall in the Wilaya of Dakhla in the Sahrawi refugee camps, mobilizing all necessary human and material resources.
The intervention of the units came in accordance with the instructions of the Emergency Committee and the Ministry of National Defense, and in response to a request from the local authorities of Dakhla.
The Ministry of National Defense confirmed that units of the SPLA remain on high alert, ready for rapid intervention whenever necessary to assist victims of the heavy rains and floods that hit the Sahrawi refugee camps. (SPS)
