Boumerdes (Algeria), July 24, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mr. Brahim Ghali, honored today, the family of the martyr Aba Ali Hamoudi, after whom the Summer University for the Sahrawi Cadres is named.
President Brahim Ghali said, in this occasion, that “this edition of the summer university chose the name of the Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, the martyr Aba Ali Hamoudi, who gave his people and the world the greatest lessons of courage, boldness and sacrifice for a just cause, until the last drop of his blood, as he himself said in the oath of his national mission”.
President of the Republic added in his speech, that “the martyr Aba Ali Hamoudi is not only another example of those leaders who advanced the ranks and died as righteous martyrs on the battlefield, but he is a model for the Sahrawi person in general, and in particular for the valiant Sahrawi fighter who does not fear death or dangers, his weapon is his faith in God and then in the justice of his cause and his loyalty to the people and the homeland and his loyalty to the covenant of the martyrs and his commitment to completing the liberation mission”.
He also presented certificates of appreciation to the mayor of Boumerdes and the President of the Algerian Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, in appreciation of their efforts to succeed this edition of Summer University for Sahrawi Cadres. (SPS)
