Shahid Al-Hafed, January 24, 2024 (SPS) - The Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front praised the position of the Non-Aligned Movement in its recent summit held in the Ugandan capital, Kampala.
The Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat praised, in a statement upon the end of its meeting held yesterday, the position of the Non-Aligned Movement in its recent summit, which affirmed its support for international legitimacy and the responsibility of the international community to enable the Sahrawi people to exercise their right to self-determination.
In the same context, the Permanent Bureau explained that Morocco’s presidency of the Human Rights Council is nothing but an attempt to obtain an international mechanism to polish its image and cover up its crimes, especially against the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories, including arrests, expulsions, displacement, unjust trials, and the torture of Sahrawi civilian and political prisoners, especially the Gdim Izik prisoners.
