Acireale (Italy), July 18, 2018 (SPS) - The Italian city of Acireale on the island of Sicily has held during this current week a solidary meeting between Sahrawi and Italian children to enjoy together a variety of sports, learning, leisure , animation and fun activities.
The meeting was held in the Brizz pool, the largest in this city and under the supervision of monitors and program managers of this pool of the Summer Sport Cam Group
it has been a great opportunity to exchange ideas and cultures among the Saharawi children welcomed in the city and dozens of Italian children, in an atmosphere of solidarity and support for the just cause of the Saharawi people.
The monitors and the managers of the pool were surprised by the capacity and intelligence of the small Saharawis for the easy adaptation and integration with their counterparts despite the harsh circumstances that are living in the Sahrawi refugees camps because of the illegal occupation of thier country by Morocco.
This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between the two Saharawi and Italian cultures with the occasion of the stay of Saharawi children in this city in the Peace Vacation Program.SPS
