Chahid El Hafed, 22 June 2017 (SPS) - Under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO Mr. Brahim Gali, the Frente POLISARIO National Secretariat held its fifth regular session.
The session examined and evaluated the inter-sessional developments in the national issue, in the light of the report prepared by the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat and a number of complementary presentations.
The Secretariat noted the regularity of the national programs established during the past period, noting in particular the level of responsiveness that the Saharawi people have shown in all the sites of action and struggle, embodying the most beautiful images of the loyalty to the martyrs and steadfastness and resistance until the attainment of the noble national goals of freedom and independence.
The National Secretariat has also hailed the struggles of the Saharawi people in the occupied territories, southern Morocco and in the university sites, which paint the heroic and challenging scenes every day in the face of the methods of the colonial Moroccan occupation state from a suffocating siege, continuous and brutal repression, kidnapping, detention and torture.
